T Level Engineering, Manufacturing, Processing & Control
Whether you're interested in product design, automation, systems control, or manufacturing processes, this T Level provides the knowledge and confidence to progress into work, an apprenticeship, or university.
The course is divided into two key areas: Core Content and a chosen Occupational Specialism.
Core Content Includes:

Health and safety practices in engineering and manufacturing

Engineering materials and their properties
 - 
	
Engineering mathematics and science
 - 
	
Business and commercial understanding
 - 
	
Design processes and CAD/CAM techniques
 - 
	
Control systems and automation
 - 
	
Quality assurance and continuous improvement
 - 
	
Problem-solving and project management in engineering contexts
 
Industry Placement
A defining feature of the T Level is the industry placement, where you'll spend at least 45 days working with an employer in a real engineering or manufacturing setting. This gives you invaluable hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the working world.
How You’ll Be Assessed
Your achievement will be measured through:
- 
	
Two externally set and marked core exams
 - 
	
An employer-set project that demonstrates your understanding of core engineering knowledge in a real-life context
 - 
	
Occupational specialism assessments, which include practical tasks, projects, and observations to evaluate your technical skills
 
Your final grade will be Pass, Merit, Distinction, or Distinction*.
