Dress Code:
AT UTC Leeds we want our students to look professional whilst being comfortable and able to express their individuality. We frequently have visitors from various employers and educational establishments so we do have some restrictions on our student dress code. These are:
- No joggers or tracksuit bottoms
- No loungewear
- Footwear must have closed toes and backs
- No Croc style shoes or high heels for health and safety reasons
- No long nails due to health and safety
- Jeans can be worn but these must not be ripped
- Hoodies are acceptable but hoods should remain down whilst in college
- No football or sports strips
- Tailored shorts can be worn but not if students are working in the workshop
- Skirts and dresses should be a professional length
- Legging must have skirts/dresses/shorts above them
