It’s been, yet again, an incredible day here at UTC Leeds as we share and celebrate the achievements of our students. Both A Level and Engineering Technical Awards results have been remarkable and reflected the hard work and determination of our students.
The day has seen outstanding destinations for all our students, including Aerospace Engineering at Sheffield University, Computer Science at Leeds University, Live Events Production at The Academy of Live Technology and even Yacht Design and Production at Southampton University. Many of our students have also secured Degree Apprenticeships in subjects such as Civil Engineering, Rail Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Software.
This year’s results have resulted in 11% of students going on to study prestigious Degree Apprenticeships, as well as the impressive fact that, on average, students made almost half a grade’s progress above their target grade.
All staff at UTC Leeds are extremely proud of what Year 13 students have achieved this year. We feel genuinely honoured to have taught them and watched them succeed. Their hard work and dedication have paid off, helping them to achieve amazing results and allowing them to progress to the next steps in their career journeys.
