Last night saw the launch of the UTC Leeds Virtual Open Event.
Though we’re disappointed to be unable to welcome visitors in person this year, we were pleased to be able to provide a virtual event which was (almost) just as good as the real thing!
The event, hosted on a dedicated website, allowed prospective students and their parents/carers to learn more about our college through engaging videos, student testimonies, and easy to digest information.
Attendees could also take a virtual tour of our world-class facilities, meet our industry experts, and read about our exciting partnerships with local employers and universities.
Students considering joining us in both Year 10 and Year 12 were free to browse information on how a university technical college works, the courses we offer at UTC Leeds, and how the student experience here is enhanced by industry experts (both UTC Leeds staff and Industry Partners).
One of the advantages of hosting our Open Event virtually this year, is that the website is still live and open to visitors! So don’t worry if you missed the event’s launch, you can still access all of the resources at www.exploreutcleeds.co.uk.
