UTC Leeds is offering a great deal in collaboration with Northern Rail to provide an under 16 annual season ticket…with savings of up to 50%!
Northern Rail’s Educational Season Ticket allows you to save up to 50% off the cost of travel and helps to calm those worries. And what’s more, if your child loses their season ticket Northern Rail will replace it.
The season ticket carries no restrictions, which means that your child can travel worry free during evenings and at the weekend too. Full details of which stations are available for your school can be found on the website below.
We know that safety will also be a priority for the new school year and Northern is committed to making sure that all passengers can travel safely on our trains. From September we will be running additional services in some areas that were previously removed due to COVID. However, we are still running fewer services on certain routes than you may be used to, so remember to check train times before you purchase your pass and where necessary allow extra time for your child’s journey.
Our trains and stations are being cleaned daily and we are using industry leading products such as Zoono that provides an anti-microbial coating that bonds to surfaces. In addition, we will need your help to ensure your child is wearing a facemask when they travel (unless they are exempt).
