The UTC Leeds Sixth Form Charity Event Coordinators have been busy collecting donations for the homeless.
Today the coordinators took donations to our chosen charity Emmaus Leeds.
Emmaus, a UK wide charity, opened a base in Leeds in 2003 and provides a home to 26 formerly homeless men and women, known as companions.
Lauren Dean, Pastoral Manager and Lead Safeguarding Officer at UTC Leeds, said: “I was extremely proud and honoured to support our sixth form charity event coordinators taking donations from the whole-school event to Emmaus today. The planning and organisation of this event has demonstrated their leadership and management skills which is one of our key attributes at UTC Leeds. Thank you to all staff and students who supported this event.”
