Y11 and Y13 Leavers celebrations
Mr Ellis (Y11 Pastoral Leader) “This year, we decided to mark the finish of school for Year 11 &13 with an assembly and BBQ in recognition of students’ hard work and dedication. This was a great opportunity to reward students and acknowledge how much they have progressed during their time at UTC Leeds. We had an array of awards given to mark the individual achievements students have made including Henry Glendinning for ‘Most Studious’, Cara Kelly for ‘Outstanding Achievement’ and Max Turner for ‘Young Engineer of the Year’. This was a proud moment for the school as we saw some of our first ever students leave, ready to enter the world with a well-rounded and promising future ahead. We wish all those who left us this year the very best and look forward to hearing about the many successes they will undoubtedly make”
Mr Berry (Assistant Principal for KS4) “Last Friday we wished a fond farewell to our first school leavers. Y11 and Y13 attended an end of year social event and had an opportunity to review and reminisce about the achievements they have made during two years at UTC Leeds. We wish them all the best for the future and look forward to inviting lots of them back to the sixth form after results day! Y11 and Y13 will also have the opportunity to celebrate their time here on the 8th of November during presentation evening, where they will receive their GCSE/ A level certificates along with other awards. More details to follow in a parental letter”
Miss Dean and Mrs Wilson (Y13 Pastoral Leader and Assistant Principal for KS5) “On Friday we said goodbye to our Year 13 students. It was lovely to look back on their time with us when we opened two years ago and see how far they have all come. We wish all Year 13 the best of luck in the future and we know they will be very successful”.
